[Poll #1013880]

The half-time GOOD or BAD is here, and season one is here; either I never did season two, or I forgot to tag it [livejournal.com profile] ajr polled on season two here. Some thoughts on the finale are here.

You needed a 'mediocre' option. Some of the eps where not bad but not good either.

Also, Mr Davies messed with canon a lot. Jack is the Face of Bo? WTF!

Nothing contradictory about this as we didn't know anything about Boe's origins - it just doesn't make a whole lot of sense....

Hey, they're both big, plastic, slightly unconvincing faces.

They should have the Face of Boe as a judge on the next Webber-based talent show.

I think Jack was just messin' with the doctor's head

I'm going to join you hoping for that.

Its the lack of sense part which I don't like. I prefer the old face in a jar to forever be a mystery, not to be what happens to Jack somewhere down the line.

And I can't get over the Flash Gordon-esque ending of the random hand picking up the ring with manic laughter in the background. The End...? *twitch*

But we already know Jack has a fetish for body parts in jars. So it makes perfect sense.

Such is not the way of GOOD or BAD.

I simply don't reply when I think that's the case; you don't have to tick a box in each one.

I'm following the Laws of Good or Bad here and basing my opinions for the whole series on the five minutes of the last episode I saw before my tea was ready. "It's got John Simm in it," I thought, "how can it possibly be bad? Oh."

Interesting; despite a significantly different voter base, you're getting very similar results to mine:

Mine got linked to by some of the fan communities though so the voting is slightly skewed into frothing fanboy-ville, but I plan to do an analysis of both at some point. Of course, me planning a post and actually doing it are two entirely different things.
