coalescentSo I was at Panic with Dave and Tom and Pilly, and this song comes on. The riff sounds like something we should recognise, but it doesn't quite click for any of us. We're standing there on the dancefloor, a little nonplussed, wondering whether to give it a go anyway, when into our midst bounds Hot Indie Chick. "It's Queens Of The Stone Age!" she screams, waving her arms in the air. "I love Queens Of The Stone Age!"
It was a beautiful thing, really it was.
