Dec. 28th, 2002 01:57 amThis is the best suspense drama you are going to see this year. It is better than any thriller you're going to see at the cinema. It is detailed. It is complex. It is thoughtful. This is about choices: About what people are worth, and what you can, should or will do to protect them.
This will snatch your breath away.
This occurs in real time.
This is 24. And when the second season starts on the BBC next year, you will watch it.

Date: 2002-12-28 05:00 am (UTC)You see, I was spoilt with the first series. I held off watching it until after finals, and then I had all 24 episodes waiting to watch. Made it soooo much better, since I always had the next ep. This time round, the lack of the next episode is killing me!
Oh, and killing sax too, good to see!
Damn it
Date: 2002-12-28 07:52 am (UTC)However, now that I'm hoping to be abroad from April (till around June/July) I'm having to download 24 S2 so that I can try and remain spoiler free.
I managed it, I knew nothing and just had my own speculation to go on, for S1 (I wasn't interested at first, I watched 12-2am on BBC2 then forgot all about it again until I got copies of the whole season to watch back-to-back over Oct/November) and will have to try harder this time around for S2.
Is there any, non-spoilerific, reason for starting at 8am, like they are with this season?

I think that's about it. They wanted to start in daylight rather than at night. *shrug*
24 S2?
