Tom, explaining why science errors in stories bother him: They're like potholes. They're like you're driving along a nice smooth road, and suddenly - bang - you hit a pothole. They're distracting.
Me: I don't notice so much; I tend just to get carried along more by the flow of the story. I guess I have better suspension.
Mike: I've got a hovercraft.
