What I should do tonight:

• The washing-up that I didn't do yesterday.
• A load of clothes-washing, to ensure I have something to wear at the weekend. New task: put the washing away
• Clean the flat. Or at least put the books and detritus into something resembling piles. Hoovering probably wouldn't be a terrible idea, either.
• And whilst I think of it, the sink and bath could probably do with a scrub.
• Take the huge and overflowing pile of cardboard from my kitchen and put it in the recycling bins outside.
• Go and see my parents.
• Eat.
• Go to bed at a reasonable hour. Before 11. I count that as reasonable. 'night all. :)
• New task: buy milk so that I can eat breakfast tomorrow.
• New task: find a home for the second new Interzone I seem to have been sent. I think they're spamming existing TTA subscribers. Sold (or will be given, rather) to Geneva!

What I want to do tonight:

The really frustrating thing is that between now and Monday evening, my total potential reading time will probably be approximately none. Sigh.

Tempting ... I could read the books on the flight back. :)

But I'm not sure my work is that high-standard. This is definitely minimum effort cleaning!
