One of the consequences of this is that you should almost never go out with someone born in the same year as you - in fact, you're usually not safe until you get two or three years away (and for me, '76 and '84 are the nearest matches). This, I feel, at least explains far more satisfactorily than western astrology why almost all school romances crash and burn in a horrible fashion.
