It's massively less intuitive than a Nokia...But it has a camera and various other exciting tricks, so I'm happy. :)

Yep. They're offering it free with a lot of contracts at the moment. I'm not complaining; I'm paying less than I used to, and have a better phone! :)

I want one, but I don't really use my phone enough to justify buying one...

What's it run then?

Is it a full blown mini computer running symbian, or is it just a lowly phone with Java support?

Just a lowly phone with Java support, I'm afraid. Still, it's a step up from what I did have. :)

No you're just used to Nokias, fool.

Dude, Nokias are just incredibly user friendly and fucking simple to use sans referring to the manual. Then again, I played around with a T610 at the airport for a bit, and it didn't seem *too* complicated. Similar-ish interface to a Nokia 7210. Only in a phone a quarter the size.

One thing I've been wondering about, though: what kind of battery life does one of these things have? Out of curiosity, like..

Nokias are satanic tricks designed to twist the minds of men.

Battery life is about 4 days. But I think I didn't fully charge mine when I got it.

That's not too bad. And not fully charging shouldn't really matter for an NiMH cell. Just takes a few full charge/discharge cycles for it to get to max capacity, but there's no memory effect from charging in between or nuthin...

Dammit, 95.6% of the world's population now has a 610; it's getting like the fucking body snatchers around here. Still, only 10 months until my contract expires and i can get one myself ...

But why haven't they made it available in the lovely silver-and-blue Arctic colour scheme that the 68i is in? Black and silver is so naff! Maybe i'll have to apply some l33t m0dz to it.

And word to tiny phones with long battery lives. Screw you, Nokia!
