Walkers are currently running a promotion. If you buy special packs of Walkers crisps, you may win a free curry or chinese.

Last monday at the KTB gig, [livejournal.com profile] tinyjo bought a packet of salt & vinegar and won, but didn't want the coupon so very generously gave it to me. On saturday, I bought a packed of smokey bacon and won again. Today, I've just had a packed of ready salted crisps and, yes, won again.

I'm thinking I may be on to a good thing, here.

I've got one of those vouchers. The list of restaurants in Liverpool is actually quite good.

welcome to microsoft.

We have a winner! IE6 has dodgy float support (as far as I can tell). I have a problem with bits of my comments boxes not showing in IE6 too. Probably if you took out the floating bit of permalinks it would work OK. Probably.

Oh, actually, are you trying to use min-height? I didn't see it anywhere, but that's another one which completely confuses MS.

see ang run.

(IE6 is the default browser at the uni, I suggest that the techies take it up with them)

Not just you - but because it works for me (and all I've done is choose colours, not edit source of any kind) I'm having difficulty working out where the problem is!

And yet I can see the comments on that thread.

It looks like your link style in the is acting oddly. I have no idea how to fix it. I'm the woman who has no idea how to get the little " sign out of her links list in S2.

When I stop flapping about I'll read through the documentation.

Looks at your source code

Check what your colour option is for visited links in the class "ljuser". I guess that's why I can't see my name.

I've no idea what happens to the text.

Can you see the entries when you scroll down and then back up, without highlighting them? I ask because Owain was having a similar problem with his website when he switched it to CSS and XHTML, with IE 6 users having text vanishing. Which he narrowed down to the way IE 6 renders the page.

Yes I can.

Still can't see names of users on visited links.

Crisps, curry, and chinese all that much, and you will be on a good thing.

It'll be nice and cool and porcelain and flush entirely the wrong way.

He spent nine months in Russia living on pasta and...put on some localised weight. I mock him mercilessly about it.
