coalescentHighlight of the day: The arrival of season one of Due South on DVD.
Disappointment of the day: Discovering that the DVD set doesn't include the pilot episode, and that furthermore it doesn't seem to be possible to get hold of the pilot at all.
Unsettling event of the day: Going to the RSFG pub meeting and having one of my old teachers turn up. Teachers aren't meant to have personal lives! Particularly ones with interests overlapping my own!
Thing I meant to write about several days ago: The surprising number of China Mieville lookalikes at the ICA generic modification talk last thursday. The shaven-headed yet well-dressed look is clearly in.
