More good news, via the good folks on umta:

The UK's Channel Five has picked up a new US series to help Buffy fans, who may soon be suffering withdrawal symptoms when the supernatural teen drama hit ceases production next year.

Twentieth Century Fox's spin-off series Angel has been picked up by the terrestrial channel. The third and fourth series are set to debut on Five on Monday June 2 in a 20.00 slot.

Angel on terrestrial TV, at a reasonable (if not perfect) hour. Will wonders never cease?

And Angel 5 from the spilerage aruond is sounding unbelievably fab.. possibly the culmination of what the ME folk have ever been up to? (Well, from my point of view I've alwasy thought Buffy had teh characters and Angel (since series 2) the plots. combine the two...? )

They're not showing series 2. :) Starting with 3.

I suppose they might have got the rights to the earlier seasons as well, and will show them later, but it doesn't say anything about it.
