Once more we set out to determine ultimate truth. Previous installments here. The gist: a list of things. Two options for each. No middle way. No snowflakes. No retreat. No surrender. EDIT: And no wussing out and only answering half the questions!

[Poll #679221]

You may attempt to justify obviously wrong opinions in the comments.

(There may even be actual book-related content over the weekend.)

So are you going to blame this on Martin?

What could possibly be wrong with pencil cases?

Oh, and I can't answer the BSG question - the quality differential between the summer season (overall excellent with a few rough patches and some causes for concern) and the winter season (overall dreadful with one or two good episodes and not much hope for the future) is too great.

I clicked BAD for anything I didn't know about (I've not seen Quantum Leap, the second series of Battlestar Galactica or Life on Mars) on the grounds that me not knowing about stuff is clearly BAD.

You can assume any answers I give which seem immensely wrong-headed are due to be not actually knowing and merely picking a random answer. Except for answers where I'm clearly right.

I had similar trouble. I eventually opted for BAD! simply because it's so long since I've seen an episode I thought was genuinely good (unlike most people perhaps, I thought the Pegasus episodes and Scar were at best mediocre..).

Well, when a pen or something leaks, you get ink over everything else in them. And you always stab your finger on the tip of the propelling pencil when you reach in.

Oh, and I can't answer the BSG question

You have to answer them all. Excuses - along the lines of Jif pancake batter not being available where you are - are entirely reasonable but beside the point. It's the savage Darwinian law of GOOD OR BAD.

I had to go and change my answer after I actually _read_ the essay and agreed with 95% of what he seemed to be saying.

That rather goes against the spirit of the exercise...

Ah, but if the pen is not in a pencil case, then the ink leaks all over everything else in your bag, which is clearly BAD.

I followed the traditional poll approach of answering all the questions even when I had no actual knowledge.

In which case you can assume:
Going against the spirite of the exercise - GOOD!

Shocking amounts of non-pie loving wrongheads here.

Then you clearly need a different pencil case; I have a nice, neat plastic box which serves duty as a pencil case for me. It works beautifully, and I've not stabbed myself on anything. Nor has anything leaked!

The only BAD thing here is the fact that you've not seen any Quantum Leap and then made the WRONGHEADED decision to vote it as BAD.

Indeed. I made enough for 4-5 people, according to Mr Slater, and two of us got through 75% of it. I *was* going to post my adaptation of the recipe, but if people aren't interested...

*walks off in a huff*

I believe I am better-qualified than most to judge goodness or badness re TV, on account on never having watched any of the alleged programmes.

Ah, I wussed out an ignored the questions upon which I had no knowledge (except Jif Pancake mix - I've never tried it, but why would anyone want a pre-mix?); must I adopt a more clicky-based attitude?

It's not the pie that is the problem, it's the stilton.

100% peanut butter in satay: GOOD! Peanut butter used for anything else: BAD!

I have not had this pie. Pie I do not have cannot be GOOD.

I'm tempted to make up a new username just so I can vote for GOOD smooth peanut butter again.
