Firefly has been cancelled.

On the one hand, I can't say I'm surprised. With the ratings it was getting, it would have been a miracle for the show to survive.

On the other hand, it sucks.

Grr, argh.

I can't see anyone picking up the show for Worldwide distribution as a result. At least you've gotten to see it.

Hmm.

I haven't seen a single Firefly episode, but I do think it's a shame that it's been cancelled - for those that have been loyal to ME/the show and for Joss/Tim et al.

And now that it's highly unlikely to be picked up for any kind of international broadcast I'm going to have to resort to attempting to get copies of (S)VCDs off of people to see any of it at all...
